Today was a craft meeting. I love craft days… okay, I love all MOPS meeting days. What’s better than taking time out for “mom” while the kiddos get to play?
Kelli lead this craft and I think it was a hit. I heard lots of “This is so easy. I could make a lot of gifts.” Ladies, I already tied it out and it’s awesome! My hands feel so soft.
Here’s the recipe:
Peppermint Hand Scrub
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Olive Oil
2 drops Vitamin E
5 drops Peppermint
Seriously, that’s it. It helped to use a funnel when pouring the sugar into the jar. Give it a little time for the oil to soak in. If it looks a little to dry, add a little bit more oil. If it looks a little too wet, add a little bit more sugar. It is normal if the ingredients separate while sitting for a period of time, just stir before you use it.
Some people put the label for how to use the hand scrub on the bottom of the jar or you could put it across the front (like in the photo). We printed our labels on label sheets so it was as easy as peel and stick.
Just in case you’re interested, here’s our Peppermint Hand Scrub Labels in PDF format so you can print more from home.
Also, in case you’re wondering, you can purchase the Vitamin E and Peppermint oil in the soap making area of the craft store. You can also purchase essential oils from a natural food store or maybe even a vitamin store.
